From 1822 to c1980 the site was occupied by Rowntree's grocery shop: in 1836, Joseph Rowntree was born in an earlier building on the site, in which he lived until 1845 and worked until 1869. The Grade 11 listed building boasts a wonderfully preserved staircase leading to this cosy classy apartment.
The space
The magnificent staircase leads to your own private little piece of history. You will be enveloped in period details throughout both in the cosy sitting room and the bedroom which houses a King Size Bed and an ensuite wet room with shower.
There is a fully fitted kitchen in the open plan living space with all the cooking equipment you need and dining table for comfortable dining.
